Hi,
I did this for many years with daily and weekly means. Unfortunately our new computer system cannot cope with it. For Daily and weekly means I used 0.5 sd of the reference range. These were for normal samples only. This is now called average of normals (AoN) there is some information on the Westagrd website re this. (westgard.com).
Regards,
Edward

Does anyone know of any guidelines for interpreting and acting on
changes in patient running monthly means for various biochem/endo
assays? What are "acceptable" % changes in the means?
TIA
