Dear subscribers,
apologies to those not in the UK, and to those not interested in contacting
Nichols Institute Diagnostics Ltd in the UK. I need to address potential
callers as well as our usual contacts with some priority, to avoid rumours
of our demise, etc.
Apologies to any clinical chemist, or your biomedical scientist staff, who
have tried to contact Nichols UK using the 0800 numbers over the last week.
(Thanks J. Berg for bringing this to my attention.)
Both our freephone numbers: Office tel:0800-092-9500 & Office
fax:0800-092-9501 have been subject to an infuriating and sporadic loss of
service. Cable & Wireless have told me this may continue for a week or more
until a software "patch" is installed. This has been very frustrating but
outside the control of Nichols Institute Diagnostics Ltd
Until that is fixed, please can you, and any staff in your department use
email (to the office or via my email address below) to send orders or data.
Telephone myself or your usual contact for tech service assistance. Fax will
have to be via my home fax (01525-633428) for now, unless you can scan and
email, so I will try and minimise any delay in retransmission. [Please copy
any photocopies nice and dark before sending.]
We are sorry for any inconvenience.
kind regards,
James A. Crofts B.Sc.
