The National Maritime Museum provides a unique setting in which to learn about Britain's maritime history, and is the richest source of information on the sea, ships, time and the stars.
We are looking for a dynamic educator to join our Lifelong Learning team in the Education & Interpretation department - someone who has the creativity and innovation to interpret the Museum's diverse collections in a way that is appealing and informative to all.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have three years' experience of working in a museum, gallery or education setting, and have recent experience of planning, delivering and evaluating a range of programming and learning resources for both families and young people. In addition you should have up to date knowledge of government lifelong learning, access and social inclusion policies, be organised and self motivated, and possess excellent interpersonal communications skills. Experience of writing and producing web-based learning resources is also desirable.
