As an extension of Sue's request, has any authority made any progress
towards the concept of one notification of change of address for all
local authority functions? If so, what solutions have been found/are
being explored?
I understand that it this is part of SOCITM's proposal for a package of
PI's to replace BVPI 157 or define it more closely.

Subject: Change of address
Has anyone investigated the best way of encouraging customers to keep us
informed of any change of address?
We currently have change of address forms on the counter for people to
help
themselves, but there is not a huge take up.
Galaxy could help, but would be very staff intensive in dealing with the
large numbers of checks thrown up.
Is there a third way?
Many thanks,
Sue Lancaster
