Laser Foundation announces its first Call for funds - The Laser Taster!
Following its creation in October 2001, as a successor to the highly
successful Laser Organization, the Laser Foundation has developed its first
call to fund library projects.
This first call will be a Special Call restricted to the ex-Laser member
public libraries.
The Trustees wish to fund current key areas which would most benefit the
ex-Laser members during 2003, and have selected the following three themes:-
1. E-Content for public libraries.
2. Implementing the Disability Discrimination Act in public libraries.
3. Facilitating the establishment of LearnDirect Centres in public
libraries.
The Fund is being administered by the British Library Co-operation and
Partnership Programme.
