In the interests of the group, it is my intention to 'bow out' of this
silly discussion about 'long' e-mails and the even sillier exchanges that
have grown out of it, not the least because I'm sure that it is wasting far
more download time than 'long' (but 'on topic') e-mails ever do.
However, as a parting thought, since I think it is of such widespread
importance, I have to say that I regard Roy's 'knee-jerk' reaction and
comments (as above) in response my my 'innocent' use of an everyday
expression (which would offend very few) as prime example of the sort of
'contrived over-sensitivity' that results in so many of the world's current
conflicts and problems.
