Dear Sarah,
Can I suggest that you look at the website for the International Museum
Theatre Alliance at www.imtal-europe.org. Apart from loads of other useful
information about live interpretation in all its forms you will also find a
glossary of terms that has been developed by members. You might also
consider joining....

Subject: defining 'living history'
Does anyone have a favorite, quotable definition of 'living history' which I
can include in a Living History Plan for Hadrian's Wall?.
It could be your own, if you wortk in this field and are happy to be quoted,
or from a published source - in which case would you mind including the
reference. I mean learning about life in the past through the experience of
dressing up in period costume and doing activities relevant to the period,
with support from adult interpreters in role.
Thanks for your help
