Steven, all,
This list, dc-general, wholly replaced the earlier meta2 list late last
year, enabling us to bring all of the dc- lists under a common list provider
(the UK Higher Education Community's Mailbase service
[http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/]) and naming structure (they're all called
dc-SOMETHING).
The dc-general list fulfils the function previously handled by meta2, as a
forum for general discussions. The various working group lists (visit
http://www.mailbase.ac.uk/alphabetical/d.html for a list of the 'open' ones)
are intended for more topic-specific discussions, and may be joined in the
same way as dc-general...

replacing LISTNAME with the list you want to join, and YOUR NAME with your
