As my train arrived at King's Cross station this morning, I
happened to notice a diesel locomotive bearing the name of St Columba.
This raises two questions in my mind and I put them to members of
medieval-religion and railway-studies (with apologies to anyone who
receives this posting twice).
(1) Which (if any) other saints have locomotives named after
