I would recommend looking at the photos in that before embarking on your own study. Unfortunately I never published an ID guide, but you'll see the references that I found useful. Bailon 1999 and Boehme 1977 are two key ones. I hope you'll find some of my drawings and SEMs useful too.
There are collections of all British species at Heritage England's Fort Cumberland base, and at Bournemouth Uni that I know about, as I contributed many specimens to both, to enable them to have full sets. My own collection isn't publicly accessible though.

Course Overview
Concepts in geometric morphometrics will be taught using a series of original data sets and working in R for solving a series of tasks. This is not an introductory course to Geometric Morphometrics, therefore, basic knowledge of Multivariate Statistics, R and Geometric Morphometric is recommended in order to take this course.

I was wondering if anyone on this lovely list would be able to help me. I am trying to gain a better understanding and identification of British amphibia and reptiles beside the common frog. I am struggling to find accessible archaeological resources (not being part of a university for a while now) on toads and other species which would help with identification and interpretation. I would also like to compare the skeletons of a common frog and common toad and take photographs if possible, if anyone might know of a place which has accessible specimens?
