Have you approached Colchester& Ipswich Museum Service? There's a big
Natural History collection in Ipswich - I'm sure they'd have loan materials.

I have found eBay a useful source of skulls in the past, decent sellers have
no problem in confirming the ethical origin of the material.

Subject: Animal Skulls

Hello All,

Has anyone got any suggestions where I can source some animal skulls for a
new workshop I have in development. I have had a look online and been in
contact with some local farmers but I would really like some recommendations
if possible – I really don’t want any unethical skulls. It is for a workshop
exploring and identifying animals by looking at skulls and teeth and then
seeing our farm animals, we do not have a taxidermy or natural history
collection so there are no skulls in our collection.

We are looking for the following: dog, pig, cow (or goat), sheep, cat and
ferret. As well as 3 non-farm based skulls, that can be replicas.

Hoping you can help

Jo

Hello GEM-mers!

Thank you for all your bookings for the next MAP meeting coming up at the
Horniman Museum, we’re almost full so make sure you book ASAP!

Unfortunately we don’t have any freelancer/non-organisation places left,
so please only book using your work email address or let us know you work
for a museum/heritage organisation.

I’ve had lots of enquiries about presenting at the meeting, please could
you email me directly: [log in to unmask] as the MAP gmail is
bursting with messages and I don’t want to miss any of your proposals!

Thanks,

Poppy

Hi all,

Sharing a survey link on behalf of our web folks. It's a VERY quick survey
for people in museums/visitor attractions about their website priorities.
They're undertaking research into what visitors want from attractions/museum
websites, so it'd be MUCH appreciated if you could complete and share with
any relevant colleagues if you're able, please?

https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/XVZQJBV

You can sign up to receive a copy of the findings at the end :)
Many thanks in advance!
