Hi Don,
I haven't yet copied a rare / special artefact by taking a mould and
casting it. But have 3D printed an object of my own design, 3D printed
it then took a silicon mold and cast it in resin. For any object that
has been 3D scanned the process of 3D print, mould and cast would be the
same. Happy to answer any questions you may have on the process and
materials involved.
