Afternoon to All!
We're looking for Yorkshire based (or those prepared to travel!) freelancers who are really experienced in working with, and developing programmes for, young people. A couple of our client museums would value some support over the next six months.
It could be a one day meeting to raise confidence in this area or a specific programme with a freelancer supporting the museum throughout the whole process from consultation with young people through to developing successful programmes.
I would be really grateful to hear from museum colleagues with recommendations. We're looking for people with a range of skills and experiences.
Museums have asked for:
* Practical advice on how best to consult with young people (from face to face to social media and beyond)
* Mentoring and coaching around developing fun, interactive and relevant activities for young people - either with a specific targeted group or as one off events
* Someone patient and empathetic who can help build confidence with museum professionals (who are perhaps more used to programming for schools or young families)
After reading this, does someone come immediately to mind?
I would really welcome recommendations from museums! However, if freelancers would like to contact me directly, please send a CV together with two references from museums they have worked with in the last 2 years.
Many thanks!
Liz
