Hi Jerry
I think recruiting a pool of freelancers would probably give you the chance of getting the best people to do this range of jobs. That might include a mix of museum educators, artists, drama practitioners.
In terms of fees, I'd work out a half day, day rate and planning rate (planning could be the same as delivery or a bit less), if that matches the kind of work they will be doing. You may need a special overnight rate for sleepovers! I think the day rate could be anywhere in the range of £140-240, slightly over half of that for the half day rate. You might want to do some research with museums as to what their educator rates currently are. And you may want to have a Lead facilitator rate and an assistant rate.
All the best,
Lucy

Hi Jerry,
I agree with Jane. If you’re looking to get ongoing assistance with consistent delivery of learning sessions and public events, it's worth considering recruiting a staff member with dedicated hours, or a larger pool of trained freelancers so you can be sure you are always covered for delivery.
Good luck with it!
