Morning Gemmers!
Whatever you voted, whatever your views on being in or out of the EU, as heritage professionals working directly with communities the landscape is going to change dramatically. How can we respond as a sector?
The next Diversity in Heritage Group meeting is taking place at the National Portrait Gallery on Friday 8th July 1-5.30pm - the theme has been widened to look at ways of engaging/re-engaging with young people (75% of whom voted to stay in the EU).
The meeting is timely, with increased threats to diversity and social justice, and a move towards a more divided society.
So come and contribute to the meeting as a participant, panellist, presenter and let's celebrate the amazing work our sector is already doing while, at the same time, giving some thought to how we engage communities and young people in a new changing UK
