I don't know if this is relevant, but I recall some years ago, there was a
list of all the "kinds of design" that Terry and others had compiled over
the years.
I recall there were something like 1,700 entries in the list.
I wonder if the 5% number is the result of clustering those 1,700 entries
into a few broad categories....
