Not benches but statues - this project is well worth a look:

Also Wild in Art's wonderful BookBenches around London was great:

Good luck!

Subject: Talking Benches
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had experience of creating a 'talking bench'? We are thinking about creating one for our small heritage site that tells you a memory/memories of what happened there to help set the scene.
It would be great if anyone had good examples of such a thing and if anyone had contacts for people who can make them that would be great.
Thanks for your help.
Olivia
