Are you a student on a Museum or Science Communication course interested in speialising in Visitor Studies or Audience Research?
Or have you been working specifically in Visitor Studies for a relatively short time?
If so, we have a fantastic bursary opportunity for you!
After much consideration the Visitor Studies Group Committee has decided this year, for the first time, to change the eligibility criteria for applications for the Alison James Professional Development Bursary.
As a Committee we are keen to support and encourage those at the earliest stages of their careers in visitor studies - you are the sector's future.
This year we will prioritise applications for the Bursary from students on a course relevant to visitor studies or someone who has worked in audience research for two years or less (although you may have worked elsewhere in visitor attractions or in another sector before this).
You do not have to have previously been a VSG Member to apply for the Bursary.
Full details and the application form are online at http://visitors.org.uk/bursary/ We do hope this new approach for this year elicits a good response and we are looking forward to hearing from you.
Closing date is 9 June 2015.
