Hi Emma
National Museums Liverpool used to deliver a whole programme of training activity which linked into the BBC campaign WW2 the People's War. I am not sure if this work is still around but their work in this arena has now developed/morphed into part of the multi award winning House of Memories dementia programme.

Subject: How to specialise in Reminiscence
Hi all,
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction in regards to specializing in reminiscence work; I have been working with my local museum delivering reminiscence sessions and this has become an area that I have found fascinating and would like to focus my attention on specializing in working with reminiscence groups. I have received a small amount of training from Age Uk, but was wondering what my next steps should be? Are there any organisations that support reminiscence work within museums that I could look into?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Emma
