Hello
Here in Leeds, West Yorkshire, we have Lotherton hall and Temple Newsam House.

Both grand historic houses set in parklands with plenty of heritage activities taking place year round. Lotherton Hall is out in the countryside at Aberford and Temple Newsam House is in the city of Leeds on a large estate surrounded by parklands. Both are places where, as you describe people go to walk dogs, play football and visit these houses too. Hope this helps.

Would a historic cemetery be helpful?
