I am reminded of Herb Simon's talk of designing as window shopping, where on is not fixed on a goal, or like wine tasting, when the outcome is not quite determined, and during which our preferences change.

Subject: Re: The OTHER Design Thinking / Call For Participants
Terry, Kevin, Jude, : With all due respect to Kevin's work what he is talking about is not what we are focused on for this book.
As per my previous clarifications here, as soon as there is a presumption up front that an experience, or a product or service is required and will be an outcome this is not what we are looking for in The OTHER Design Thinking book. There are other books focused on experience design, product design
