Ah Ken, you dreamer you
I know you meant the pointer to Gary Trudeau as a joke, but if only more
Industrial Designers would "go all in with math and engineering" to prepare
for a design degree. Plus art, drawing, materials, manufacturing methods,
and social sciences (none of which will appear in engineering courses).
(I suspect Trudeau confuses ID with Engineering Design a related but rather
different activity (but where ID and ED students and workers would both
benefit by knowing more about the other activity).)
But it is rather nice that we are recognized by Trudeau. And recognized as
a difficult major, not as an easy way through college.
