Dear GEM.
The Geffrye Museum no longer has use of an interactive initially designed for the Eco-Homes Exhibition in 2009, it has been sitting in our art room since but needs to be moved in the coming weeks, and we would be happy to have it go to a new home!
The interactive demonstrates the energy usage of different types of light blubs (traditional filament, energy saving, and LED). Visitors turn a bicycle style crank to power the lights - they can observe how much longer/faster they need to work to power the traditional bulb vs the energy saving/LED.
If you are interested in this interactive, please message me for photos or to arrange to see or collect it it -
Approximate dimensions are:
Highest point: 120cm
Width: 50cm
Length: 115cm
It is heavy and would require a van/large car to transport.
Thank you very much!
Best wishes,
Anna Darron
