I wondered if anyone had a contact for somebody who could do a demonstration showing the flamboyent hairstyles of the rich in the 1750's/1760's? This will be part of 'Bedtime Stories: Chapter 2' Exhibition, celebrating the restoration of the Queen Anne State Bed. In this exhibition (May to November 2012) we will be focusing on the social history of waking and going to sleep and wanted somebody who could give a talk/fun demonstration as part of a weekend of 'toilette' related activities for all ages. We are a large country house in Leeds and would welcome any suggestions.
Thank you in advance! Please reply directly to Shelley, details below.
