Hi Martin,
The Understanding Slavery Initiative has a great website, including fantastic resources for students and teachers: http://www.understandingslavery.com
At the National Maritime Museum we are currently redeveloping our mobile learning offer which we will be using with KS3 pupils in the first instance. This will allow students to use their skills in independent enquiry whilst exploring our Atlantic and Traders galleries, both of which deal with sensitive issues.
Thanks,
Charlie Keitch

Subject: Challenging History with digital media
Hi, do you know of any examples of digital technology being used for learning in history, especially involving contentious or sensitive issues?
Could be web resources, interactives, films, audio, handheld technology, etc - anything involving digital.
I am contributing to a workshop at the Challenging History conference and we are collecting examples for participants to review and comment on.
Martin
