Hi all (and apologies for cross-posting),
This year’s Museums Association Conference in Brighton (3-4 October) includes a programme of free Museum Practice seminars covering best practice examples of new developments and innovations in museums and galleries.
The 26 seminars are open to anyone (register online or on the day). You can read the full programme online (http://bit.ly/nQ46mp) but below are a selection of seminar topics that I thought might be of interest to GEM members:
• Creating online learning resources on a budget
• Rules of play: creating museum games
• Social media marketing workshop
• Copyright: getting the picture
• How to write great museum text
• Practical tips for creating online exhibitions
• Effective online partnerships for small museums
• Practical tips for creating online exhibitions
• Ten dos and don’ts of creating multimedia content in-house
Hope to see some of you in Brighton!
