Dear Gemmers,
First of all, thanks for the Tudor whisk responses. Haven't found a definite source yet, and I have to contact a couple of people, however, they don't seem to be on sale anywhere. I'll keep those intersted parties posted when I solve the problem.
On the subject of gasmasks. I have just visited a woman who offerd me a WW2 baby's gas mask. I turned it down as we already have one and this was no better in terms of consdition. However, I siad I'd try and find someone who'd take it off her hands. So, if anyone wants a WW2 baby's gas mask let me know. The condition is OK, the rubbers skirt seems soft and flexible, the metal is a little rusted and the rubber pump is a touch squashed. She lives in Trowbridge in west Wiltshire so you need to be fairly local, but she doesn't want anything for it.
Let me know if you're interested.
Cheers,
David Birks
