Dear all
Firstly: apologies for not collating my previous enquiry about parental
engagement. It IS on my to do list and I will send the responses to the
list. Just need a bit of time!
In the meantime I have another question.
Does anybody have any examples of best practice ways that secondary schools
have used their museum as part of a project or scheme of work, rather than a
stand alone (probably workshop based) visit?
I am interested in any teaching materials but also just descriptions of how
the school used your museum. I am especially interested in any enquiry based
visits. I am particularly keen to hear about visits planned by teachers
themselves, but if your museum offers enquiry days or materials that support
complete units of work that would be interesting too.
I faithfully promise to collate replies (although can't say how quickly!!!).
Best
Jo
