Dear GEMs
As part of an exciting Heritage Lottery Funded exhibition this year surrounding the work of Eadweard Muybridge, Kingston Museum are staging a programme of events running between September 2010 and January 2011. The exhibition and its attendant talks programme are aiming to explore the the projection work of photographer Eadweard Muybridge and its theoretical and creative links to various aspects of moving image history - an area of research never before undertaken as an end in itself.
For our introductory launch event, taking place in the afternoon on Saturday September 18th, we are aiming to give an insight into certain aspects of the long and rich history of moving image and projection, and hope to stage a traditional shadow puppet show accompanied by a short explanatory talk as part of this.
We were hoping you might have the contact details of some facilitators, or shadow puppet groups you can recommend - any information you might be able to offer would be very much appreciated
Many thanks,
Caroline
