Happy New Year to all GEM members. Hope you had a joyful and peaceful
Christmas.
The first International Museum Theatre Alliance event of 2010 is the

(More of) Less of the Verbal, led by Emily Capstick and Alison Hale of
Peoplescape Theatre, offers new activities and skills in using non-verbal
communication in live interpretation and museum theatre. This course is
great for anyone working with people for whom spoken English can be a
barrier, such as the very young, those with special needs, and overseas
visitors.
The fee for IMTAL members is £60. For non-members it is £90
Fee includes lunch and refreshments.
Anyone wishing to join as members of IMTAL at the same time will benefit not
only from the members rate for the training, but also 17 months membership
(until May 2011) for the price of 12. Institutional membership rate: £70 or
100 Euros per year. Individual membership rate; £30 or 35 Euros per year.
Booking forms with further information and travel details can be downloaded
from the diary page of the IMTAL website. Full details of membership
benefits also on the website. www.imtal-europe.com.
Please circulate this information to any colleagues or friends who might be
interested. We have a few places left, and would like to fill them to
ensure IMTAL can continue to offer such high quality training opportunities
at such a bargain price.
All best wishes for a successful 2010
