JSL Ancient and JSL Blackletter are by far the best repro Tudor fonts I've
seen, and they're freeware.

Subject: Elizabethan Type
Hi All
Here's a Friday afternoon poser for you all - although looking at the
time it might be more of a Monday Morning head-scratcher by the time
you see it.
I would dearly love to find a font for my computer that reproduces
the slightly wobbly typography of Elizabethan printing, where the
letters are not quite lined up properly and the letter shapes aren't
quite matched, and some of the letters "S" are long, so they look a
bit like lower case 'F' s.
This would be useful to me in the context of a science show I am
putting together about the life and work of Galileo, but it would
also just be a nice thing to have.
Does anyone out there in GEM-world know if such a thing exists, and
where it might be had?
Thanks
If something suitable turns up I promise I won't use it in postings
to this list!
Cheers
Richard.
