I know exactly what you mean because I used to use them for my own
research years ago. I don't know where you can get them, but it might be
worth getting in touch with the Department of Geography here in Cambridge
which has an air photo collection and research unit who might be able to
advise- I'm afraid I don't know anybody there to point you towards though.
