Thanks Nick, Rod and Cal
(people respond with helpful stuff on this list faster than I can google for it!)
On the agregate I've gone for:
-Xms512m -Xmx1024m
which seems to load OK- hopefully the outofheap exceptions will now stop!
Cal, a while back on the I2 list you mentioned using the incremental garbage collector with the -Xincgc flag, is that still necessary? Would I put it after the Xmx directive?
Rods reference recommends using the worker mpm module with Apache and "maybe 3-5 servers and 75-100 threads". I haven't done this, has anyone else? I've just left my Apache all at defaults, any idea what the pitfalls may be?
Cheers
Andy
