medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Hi,
The Revelations of Saint Birgitta are edited by Birger Bergh, Carl-Gustaf Undhagen and others in a critical edition published by Kungl. vitterhets historie och antikvitets akademien in Stockholm 1956-2002. The corpus can be accessed via the Internet at <http://62.20.57.210/ra/diplomatariet/CRB/index.htm>.
The first volume of an English translation by Denis Searby with comments by Bridget Morris was published by Oxford University Press in 2006.
Best,
Anders

Ämne: [M-R] Birgitta's *Revelationes*
Dear medieval-religion colleagues,
I'm studying a fifteenth-century sermon dealing with Birgitta of Sweden. The texts contains several references to the *Revelationes*.
If any of you have studied th *Revelationes* in the original Latin, could you recommend the best edition to consult, please?
And if any of you are aware such a thing, is there a recommended English translation?
Many thanks,
George
