medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Not of much help, except perhaps in establishing some bounds to your
search, David C. Fowler, Charles F. Briggs, and Paul. G. Remley's
edition of _The Governance of Kings and Princes: John Trevisa's Middle
English Translation of the De Regimine Principum of Aegidius Romanus_
(NY & London: Garland, 1997, ISBN 0-8153-1454-X) has this to say on p.
xii:
There is no modern edition of the Latin text of _De Regimine
Principum_, nor is there any study of medieval witnesses or
early printed editions of this popular work--extant in more
than 350 manuscripts--that would allow us to identify the specific
version of the Latin text that Trevisa used. (See further F. Del
Punta and C. Luna, _Catalogo dei manoscritti (1001-1075)_:
De regimine principum. _Citta del Vaticano--Italia_, Aegidii
Romani Opera Omnia I.i.11 [Florence, 1993].)
Good luck!
