medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
From: Thomas Izbicki <[log in to unmask]>
> For some holdings scholars in the US can consult the Vatican Film
Library at St. Louis University:

other libraries in the U.S. have copies of various parts of St. Louis'
holdings.

Indiana U. (in Bloomington), for instance has "Manuscripta, rare and
out-of-print books on microfilm" (and, god, what an awful, literally
torturous, Dantesque technology that is to use).
i believe that St. John's Univ. in Minnesota would probably have
-Vatican Library manuscripts on microfilm
-Vatican Archives registers on CD-ROM
-Jesuit historical documents on microfilm
-Slide collection of medieval and Renaissance manuscript illumination
etc.
