Darren, I'm the one who described rendition as
cynical. I was referring to the Bush government's
cynicism, not to Al Queda, who have other agendas and
attitudes. Your posts seem to confuse the issues here.
Those who orchestrated 9/11 were anything but cynical.
(Nor are suicide bombers cynical.) One of the most
dangerous things about terrorists is their absolute
sincerety--versus the Bush administration's absolute
hypocrisy.
