Did we stray into an episode of South Park here? I can't help hearing this
voiced (or rather squeaked) by Stan.
Really I think Gitmo is more about terrorizing the terrorists (the ones who
aren't in Gitmo) than gathering intelligence; it's a sort of Baudrillardian
show trial. Hicks makes for a good actor because he's English speaking.
Cynical? Maybe. Brutal realpolitik? Certainly.
