Dear all,
I am planning an outreach programme on the theme 'Welcome to China'. Part of
the programme will offer assemblies to schools to introduce China: its
culture, history, music and language. I would like these assemblies to use
the museum's handling and/or teaching collection and involve some form of
active participation (e.g. learning how to use chopsticks).
Does anyone have any experience of taking assemblies to schools? What works
and what are the potential pitfalls?
Many thanks for your help!
Tom
