Hmm.
This sounds rather like the fate of several England football supporters in
Scotland for wearing apparel that was offensive to a tiny minority of
bigots. Except they did not get the courtesy of a warning before arrest
but were just beaten up.
But rather than try the experiment suggested, which could of course become
a national demonstration of design of experiments but put the liberty of
honest radstatters at risk, perhaps the police, who are taking this
high-minded and pointless action, could be required to demonstrate to a
high probability that the aforementioned slogans that I cannot possibly
repeat are offensive to a substantial propoertion of the population.
If the current opinion polls are anything to go by, this would be a
difficult task indeed. At the various events described, I would expect
this to be an even more difficult task.
