Dear Anne-Marie Willis,
When we decided to embark on the venture of editing an online journal we
asked our designers to build a platform for such thing.
As a briefing, I told the young designers in charge two things:
1. I want people to think of "The Economist".
2. Take a look at various online journals but If you want to take a look at
what I consider the best online journal in our field, see DPP.
I'm telling you exactly what happened without anykind of irony.
I don't know to what extent you find it duplicating DPP.
I don't feel it duplicates DPP.
We hope to irritate people for other reasons than this, so we will change it
as soon as possible. We have no call for a conflict you you or DPP.
The best regards from an admirer,
Eduardo Corte-Real
PS: I do confirm David Durling's satement that the Radical Irritant that you
speak has no connection with this list, or the list owners, or indeed the
Design Research Society.

Subject: Radical irritant
Dear Editors of Radical Designist and List Members,
I'm somewhat perplexed as to why your online journal has duplicated the =
format of Design Philosophy Papers (including its glitches!). Is it a cas=
e
of imitation as the highest form of flattery, a paucity of creativity, or=
something else altogether???
regards,
Anne-Marie Willis
