In the Sarum Calendar, 3 April is the feast day of "Richard, Bp of
Chichester" (BCP), a Simple feast with double Invitatory, celebrated with 3
lessons at Matins if deferred from the Octave of Easter. Now, this year, 3
April *is* the Octave day of Easter, so it would normally be deferred to
Monday 4 April. However, we think that it is likely that the feast of the
Annunciation would be deferred to 4 April, so it is unclear where Richard of
Chichester would be deferred to! Quite likely, his translation feast on 16
June.
