Hello,
I would be very interested to here what other people offer for Key Stages 3 and 4 Art and Design. Whether this is, teaching sessions, loan resources, material to support a visit, etc.
We have a variety of different sites, ranging from a literary character's house to a natural history museum; from a victorian sewage pumping station to a tudor castle.
(D-Day Museum and Overlord Emrboidery, Southsea Castle, Charles Dickens Birthplace Museum, Portsmouth Natural History Museum, Eastney Beam Engine House, City Museum and Records Office).
I have a teacher from a local Secondary School working with me this week looking at this - it would be really useful to point her towards things other museums/ galleries do.
I'll collate all reponses and send them back to the list.
Kind regards
Bryony
