I shall shortly try to contribute more seriously to the
discussions which have been going on lately.
Meanwhile, I would like to share fruits of my current
re-visiting of my "archives" (to verify what may still,
after all these years, be possibly worth keeping, and
what possibly not ... ).
I have just turned up a cartoon cut sometime from
some newspaper. From the context of adjacent bits
of paper, I estimate its date as 1970-1973.
It is by a cartoonist called 'Holland', and it seems
to belong to a series titled "NINE TO FIVE by HOLLAND".
The cartoon shows a couple in armchairs watching TV.
The caption below the picture says:
"There now follows a party statistical broadcast ... "
Glad I hadn't already thrown it away, really! Nothing
new under the Sun.
Best wishes to all,
Ted.
