Thanks to everyone who replied about gas masks. It seems that the best
solution is to find your local asbestos disposal company, smile nicely at
them and ask if they would mind squeezing in your gasmasks as part of a
larger job. Either that or it's have them do an isolation tent all of your
very own at prohibitive cost. Our local company has offered to do ours for
£125 for 25 masks.
