medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
When I attempted a Dogpile search of the phrase, Aquinas' name kept
showing up but no site indicated who coined the phrase, which was the
original question if I remember correctly. I also got sent to a page at
history.about.com discussing the events of January 14! And I have it in my
head that "theology" as a discipline and an actual word may be laid at
Abelard's feet. I know there are terrific Abelardophiles out there who'll
correct me if I'm wrong.
