medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear Laura,
I think it would have been the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council, known to Canadian academics by the acronym *SSHRC* (pronounced 'shirk').

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
An embarrasing query... some time ago I acted as a peer reviewer for a Canadian funding body that gave grants for art-historical research amongst other things. My employers need to know the name of this organisation, and I can't for the life of me think what it was called. It was a national body, equivalent to the British Arts and Humanities Research Board, but a web-search using various keywords has failed to ring any bells. Any ideas?
Laura
