JOB OPPORTUNITY: CABE Education
We are currently looking for two ambitious people to join our education
team. CABE Education was set up last year to help young people to
understand the importance of the built environment in terms of its
impact on their lives. We do this by providing teachers and other
educators with practical ideas and materials to use the built
environment as part of their work.
Education Advisor £25,354-£31,692
You will be directly responsible for developing and producing education
materials to meet different parts of the National Curriculum, including
written and software resources. You will do this in partnership with
other public sector agencies, with voluntary organisations and with
commercial providers. Educated to degree level, you will have at least a
few years experience behind you and are perhaps looking for an
opportunity that will give you more freedom to be creative in developing
tools that both educators and young people will enjoy using.
Education Programme Officer £23,850-£29,813
This is a developmental post aimed at a graduate who wants to work in
the education field and is looking for an environment in which they can
have a hands-on role in working with a range of education providers and
support services. You will be responsible for maintaining the programme
systems, including our network database, for developing and producing
publications and for setting up and running events. You will also
provide some administrative back-up for this small team.
