Dear members
GEM Conference in Manchester this year (2-6 September) - it'll be great, so sign up now!
I'm organising a trade fair/information fair for the Conference and am asking for your help and suggestions as to who to approach to 'exhibit' at the Fair.
So far my thinking is this:
To have organisations send material (posters, flyers or publications to take away) that informs our work in the areas of Policy, Funding, Partnerships and Good Practice. I'd like the Fair to offer the chance for delegates to 'catch-up' with the latest news, policies, funding opportunities etc. and hope that some exhibitors would bring copies of literature that can be taken away for free and/or booklists, contacts etc.
So - who do you want to see exhibiting at GEM Conference? What do you want to know more about? Please send me your suggestions ASAP. If you want to exhibit, please also contact me.
These are my thoughts so far for exhibitors: I need your help in identifying regional exhibitors (but remember that the information needs to be relevant/interesting to all) and in advising me how cross-sectoral you think we should be, too

As at past Conferences some attendees have been wily enough to bring information/publicity about their own organisations, but on a very ad hoc basis. This year we will give priority to organisations that are Manchester/NW-based in the first instance.
Please give this 5 minutes of thinking-time, as I think this could be a really useful part of the conference
Many thanks
