PRESENTERS X2 (Full Time) Ref: 23/02
Salary £15,387 per annum
The Education and Public Programmes Department is seeking to appoint two
enthusiastic and effective communicators to join our expanding team of
Presenters.
You will deliver a programme of live events and presentations to a wide
audience of Museum visitors, linked to the collections and Special
Exhibitions, including science shows and demonstrations of working
machinery.
Reporting to the Public Programmes Co-ordinator, you will also be
responsible for generating new ideas for programmes, researching, writing
scripts and making models/props to aid presentations.
Applicants should have excellent communication and team working skills. In
addition, experience of presenting to a live audience, preferably in a
museum or science centre context. Some technical expertise is required and
full training will be provided, in preparing and operating working
machinery.
